Chapter 3

I stood at the bar in the main lounge area of the club. It used to be the entrance to the hospital. We’d torn out ten of the small offices and the security booth and opened the space wide. We’d kept the bathrooms, but had them gutted and combined. We didn’t need a women’s bathroom. Patty was the only female consistently around and she used a bathroom connected to her office. She didn’t mingle with the boys, not often.
